<itunes:summary>The FAA recently made a change to charting on the sectionals that makes special use airspace a little easier to interpret. Alert Areas have recently changed from being Blue in color to now being Magenta. This means that special use airspace is now easily sorted into areas that you must stay out of during certain times and areas you might want to stay out of. Jim Sweeney explains.</itunes:summary>

Well, she's actually been asking people a lot more than that and we talk with her about what some of those questions are, who she's asking, and the trends she's beginning to discover that will hopefully lead to more women becoming pilots.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:subtitle>Interview on Jan 5, 2010 (Segment 1 of 5)</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>If you began your aviation career flying airplanes, you're probably used to a natural progression of ratings from Student through Air Transport Pilot with steps along the way like private pilot, commercial pilot, and instrument ratings. When you move into other categories of aircraft, ratings are sometimes organized a little differently, sometimes surprisingly. Earl Lawrence joins us to talk about it.</itunes:summary>
